Welcome to Pure Ebony...
I watch helplessly from above their unprotected heads. As they tear our own land from our paws and obliterate our ways of living. Pink, defenceless, monsters roam over our homes, creating their living out of what was ours. Times are changing.
So what do we do? Nothing at the moment, but we have two choices.
We run. Draw back and admit defeat under the rule of these new mortals. Give up, leave the lands our forefathers so painfully fought for. Leave our homes, our children and risk our souls to find better living. But what valiant warrior does that?
Or, we fight. Dredge up the very little courage and fight for the land that is rightfully ours. But of course, how do we fight in such small numbers? We have fought between each other for countless years, now we have killed our way out. To fight would mean to join forces, and to join forces would mean to break the great rivalry that has separated our species for so many lifetimes.
One thing’s for certain, we fight for our lives.

[03/07/08] - We have two new members of staff! Welcome Serenal and Mara!
[28/6/08] - PLEASE READ! ----- We are slightly low on activity at the moment, most probably to do with the very small amount of members we have on pE. Therefore, we have opened a competition to increase awareness about Pure Ebony. The next 20 members to join, and create there first character will be rewarded - BUT -only if they post a Pure Ebony affiliate request on one site, that is accepted, so our banner is up. This can be any site, including their own. Please check out the competition thread in 'updates and announcements'. Meanwhile, the weather/season/month cycle has been postponed, due to limited joining activity. We are almost into out second game year and we have had not a single role-play post, so the cycle has been stopped until 20+ members have joined. Thank you, sorry to drag on.

Two flats, two floors, one building. Both include a bedroom, bathroom and living room and prove a nice home for the dogs. A small hallway and flight of stairs makes the gateway between the two rooms, and little trace is left behind of the humans. A matress in each room and the odd table here and there maybe?. This uninteresting building almost looks out of place where it is, right off the side of the town. It's further dog terratory than town, though, so it's completely owned by the dogs, now. Around 4 acres of pure woodland. Just outside of the town, little know about it. The area is almost always inhabited with the dogs, hunting, feeding. Of course, there is the odd village woodcutter, but they prove no great problem. Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX
A small open plan log cabin. One large room, separated into a bedroom, kichen and living area. The cabin is pretty much derelict. The woodcutters havn't seemed to have returned since they left with the rest of the townsfolk, taking most of the furniture with them. A matress and a pile of wood in the bedroom, an old sofa in the living room, ripped and torn appart and the woodburner in the kitchen. Hardly any use to a dog, but it's warmer than the cold outside. Just beond Lakewood forest, lies a small stream. Hardly a quest to cross it, you could easily jump over or paddle through it with little harm exept the odd wet paw. It's what lies on the other side that's the danger. The stream is the border between cat and dog, where the history of the clans and the great rivalry lies. Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX

A small mountain, if you could call it that. The top is easily reachable in a day and proves a nice place to rest or sleep for a night. To get to the top takes an agile body, mostly found in that of a cat, hence the felines claiming the mountain. From the snowy top, the whole of the town is viewable. Useful not just for pleasure, but for attack. But you have to get down again... Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX
The source of the small stream that is the border. A cluster of large rocks makes a path for the small trickle of water that leads into the stream. It's further north, towards Dhalak and behind the Great lake, so the cats claimed it. It's totally secluded and hidden from canines, as most of them think the end of the border is the great lake. A huge pool of cool, clear water, hidden from view from its wall of pines surrounding it. It's a lovely place in summer to cool off and socialise with others, but in winter, it's mostly covered over with a thin layer of ice. No creature has ever tried to cross it because of it's size, you would most likely exhaust yourself, give up and swim back or drown. Most of the dogs think this is where the border ends, it leads into a huge lake surrounded by pines, little do they know the border actually swerves around the lake towards the Rocky source. Supposedly, the towns folk are meant to meet here every once in a while, to discuss the goings on in Lakewood. Realisticly? Well, the building hasn't been used once since it's creation, and is now just an free source of shelter to any who require it. Well...that's if you can get in through the baracaded doors. This is the old town library. It is filled with shelves after shelves of books and it is a very quiet place over all. There is few desk and tables here. The walls are a nice calm and neutral color and the carpet matches it very well. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This is the Gym. The floor is covered in hard wood floor that is light brown in color. There are two basket ball goals that hang from the ceiling on both ends of the court, but they on the wall there is a button that you can push that makes them go up, or down. There is a Tennis net up against the wall between the two locker rooms. The area is big, and each side of the court has it’s own set of bleachers. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This is the pool. The pool is not heated so in the winter and fall months it gets really cold. But in late Spring and summer, it is a good way to cool down. There are lounge chairs on either site of the pool, and a diving board in the deep end. There is also a small building that the humans used to shower off. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This is the Dog Pound, even though they took cats here as well. There are cages after cages lined up against the wall and in neat lines for the dogs to be put in once they are captured. There is blankets in each one and food and water, but don’t get me wrong, this is no place that you want to end up. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
Trante park is a large area that most of the time, humans don’t mind seeing animals around, as long as you don’t look or sound dangerous to their kids. There is a walking trail here that goes through the woods, a large kiddy playground complete with slides and swings, a lake that has ducks and geese in it every spring and summer. There are also a few sports areas: Tennis Field, Baseball Field, and even a Basketball Field in an indoor arena Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This is the bowling rink. There are about twenty lanes lined up that have triangles of pins sitting at the end of them. Humans used these to roll balls down in attempt to knock all of them down, or course they do not have to sit them back up again, there is a machine that does this automatically for them. This is the Lakewood Theater. When you first go through the set of double doors you are in a small room, with a desk to one side where you purchase your tickets, then you go through another set of double doors that lead to a lobby. The lobby is huge with restrooms to the right and a bar like thing with food and drinks behind it. If you go to the wall directly across from the double doors there are two long halls to the left and the right. Above the halls are labels. The Left one says Theaters 1 – 15. The Right one says: Theaters 15-30. So what is the place for you ask? It is where the humans come to watch movies of course. It is a very entertaining place to be. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This is the school. Where the human pups are shut up in the day. The animals have ceased to ever understand why. The large grounds outside are usually free to roam in, but if a human pup see you from the inside of their brick cages, you're in trouble. Periodically, the human pups are let out for a small break in their captivity, always be weary of these times, adult humans are very protective Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX
A small enclosed patch of greenery, nature flourishing in it's palm. A nice place to socialise. Humans are oftern around here. Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX
The local grocers. The front porch layden with fresh fruit and vegetables, ripe to their peak. But inside a more appealing meal of meat lies on the counter and hanging above it. The shops keeper is weary of animals though, making it extreamly hard to grab anything Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX
Very few humans warm well to the animals, but it would seem Mr.Morkole and his family have no objections to them. Down the back alley, Mr. Morkole leaves behind a bin where he discardes his leftovers for animals to help themselves. Never venture further than this though, one thing Mr. Morkole dosn't like is animals in his famous Italien resturant. Moderator: Xx Bellezza xX
A massive concreate payground hold the children during their breaks. It's covered in paintings on the floor and apparatus, which can sometimes prove hazardous. The concreate leads onto a large feild, where the children play sports sometimes. Here, it is slightly less dangerous, but easier to get caught by the grounds keeper, who's sharp with a gun. This is THE garage, The best of the best. This is the best of the garages around. There are four garage doors that open up to let you in and out and all the equipment is out, always. The man that owned the place really cared about the town’s people. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This old bar is near the front of the town. It is very big, and has a stage where bands performed nightly. The shelves behind the bar are still filled with bottles of alcohol and the stools that are in front of the bar are still in neat conditions and very clean. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
This is a Petrol station, aka the gas station. It is a descent sized store with food and drinks on the inside, and on the outside there are fuel pumps that humans use to put gas in their cars. Moderators: Xx Bellezza xX, Amaya ♥
